Yaadhum, a documentary tracing the roots of Tamil Muslims, evocatively portrays a syncretic tradition that allowed inclusiveness and peaceful coexistence. Kombai S. Anwar, the director, says the film also presents an antidote to the increasing radicalisation of society.
